Crash! Bang! Wallop!

I have a personality trait that when there is an accident or breakage of an item around the house, it doesn't matter one bit.

People (and pets) matter, and as long as we haven't broken a piece of ourselves, then everything else is just manageable.

I don't get upset, I'm not 'tied to' a particular mug or bowl or vase. They are just things.  Items can be replaced or mended.

So today, when I dropped a small china ovendish, it mattered not. 

No people or animals were hurt.

Having said that, I would be upset if my piano or French horn were damaged - but only because I wouldn't be able to play until I got a replacement.
