Party prep

Tomorrow it's little man's first birthday party!

I can hardly believe it's been a year since his early, very scary arrival.  

Today I've been: tidying, sorting, posting, cleaning, shopping, cooking and baking ( and yes, cooking and baking are different activities ).

There are two dozen cupcakes with minions on them, two dozen with Sarah and Duck on them ( his 2 1/2 year old sister chose the cupcake toppers! ), a birthday cake cooling on the side that will be iced into the shape of a number 1 in blue, and a carrot cake that is his daddy's favourite!

Also in the kitchen are two curries for dinner tonight that I cooked earlier, knowing I'd be shattered after cooking this afternoon with a two-and-a-half-year-old!

I've just sat my butt down and I don't feel very inclined to get up again, but I must....

Ah well: I'll stick the radio on and it'll soon be tidied up. :-)
