Sunday, Sunday
Hey ho readers!
It's been blowing a hoolie here in the South West (UK) today; hailstones, high winds and intermittent teases of Mr Blue Sky. (Cue ELO for those who are my age..)
Usually at this time of year my eBay sales increase but - and I promise you I am most definitely not moaning - this year (I think due to the Lockdown) my sales are rocketing!!
(How many t's in rocketting, I've never written that word before. Rocketing? Rocketting??)
I have spent well over two hours hand-addressing envelopes and this evening will add my products before Man Wonderful takes the load to the Post Office tomorrow.
(N.B. I don't share what I sell on here, and I do not have a 'shop' on eBay.)
Now I'm sat on the sofa with Millie at my feet and a creamy decaf coffee by my side, crocheting and reading the blogs I follow. Bliss!
The Grandchildren had a sleepover last night, as is our usual routine, and with their parents* will come back for a roast dinner this evening. I prepped all the veggies while I made our lunchtime salad so MW can easily cook the meal later. As all but one of us is veggie, the protein part of tonight's meal will be Swedish Veggie Meatballs - they go beautifully with sage and onion stuffing and a yorkshire pudding. Yum!
I'm going to carry on enjoying the peace and quiet before the family return* and I just might watch a cheesy Christmas Movie and have a nap...
Take care,
Tracey xx
*Man Wonderful, myself, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren are in one 'bubble' or household. Although we live in two houses, due to my and grandson's disabilities we are one support group. Just in case anyone wanted to check.
Isn't it sad that you have to write that little addendum? It's nobody's business but your own! Have a lovely family evening, Tracey, your meal sounds delicious.
