A stop at home day.
After a rough night, weather-wise, it was no hardship to stop at home today.
The lounge became a play zone and the slow cooker simmered in the background.
After a lazy morning of jigsaws and duplo, lunch consisted of reduced price Brie and salad.
This afternoon had me pinning and tacking the alterations for three bridesmaid dresses and the lounge was full of girly chatter.
Supper tonight?
Veg stroganoff served in front of the TV on laps.

That sounds perfect to me, and very much like the days I had with my children when they were small - except for the bridesmaid dress alterations!

ReplyDeleteWell I'm off work because the 'Dog' has been nipping at me a little though getting over the worst of it now. So today was sort out the garden shed in preparation for a myriad of tasks to complete this year. Tomorrow? well more sorting and a few hours ar Mr. Jones' motorcycle workshop helping him out a tad. Nice to see you posting again m'dear.
