One-handed crafts
Ever get the feeling that every day is an adventure?
That's life, isn't it?
I fractured my wrist last Thursday and have a rather snazzy wrist splint.
Now I'm trying to work out how to continue the crafting I want to work on with just one hand.
I know some clever people can knit with one needle clasped under their arm, but that isn't working here..
I'm also working on a hand-stitched paper pieced quilt - but again, I can't manage this with one mitten...
So I've read on my Kindle, played with the grandkids and chatted to MW but if you can craft with just one hand: please message below.
After all, it's all an adventure isn't it?

Painting? Can you just hold anything in your damaged-wrist hand? If so, maybe a bit of crochet?

Oh you poor thing. Is it the hand you write with? If not then if I were you I would paint, colour in and make card toppers. If you use a ring, tapestry can be one handed.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
