Simple Summer Fun

I need to apologise for my absence.

It's been over a month since I last blogged and I really appreciate the messages from folk asking if we are ok; especially following the shooting last week here in Plymouth.

We are fine. No, we are good.

I've finished the Harry Potter crocheted people - Harry, Hermione, Ron and Hagrid.

We have been for a few days to Manchester to see Stepson and grandchildren.

We have had some lovely adventures locally with dog.

We have spent some fab time with Daughter and grandchildren here at home.

I discovered Robert Galbraith and am devouring his books.

We are currently babysitting two additional doggies while their owners are on holiday abroad.

Phew!

I need a good kick up the backside to blog more frequently - it does me good to share with folk.

Please tell me what you have been up to the last month?

Take care,

Tracey xx

  1. Hi Tracey,

I do believe that Robert Galbraith is also JK Rowling. I haven't read any of "his" books, but it sounds like you're enjoying them, which I'll take as a recommend.

I'm glad your summer's going well, and a lot more like normal life. Just with a few precautions.

  2. Nice to hear from you again. Do you have photos of the Harry Potter characters - they sounds lovely.

  3. I am so glad that you are back! We have been enjoying some nice days out and have spent a bit of time trying to bring down our bills by renegotiating annual renewals (why do they all come at once?) and swapping to a different energy supplier with a 2 year fixed rate. I have also arranged a trip to see my Mum next week. It is 2 years since I saw her and I can't wait. We wanted to go and see her as soon as lockdown ended, but she has had builders working on her house and it has had to be put back a couple of times.
