Getting to the end of January

January is a different month from the norm in our little house.

Each month I shop once, to ensure we have the ingredients for our planned monthly meals.

Last year I had a supermarket budget of £150 a month, and spent £120 a month additionally on local fruit and veg.

But January is different as we like to use-it-up by planning meals around what we have, and eating up our frozen/leftover meals.

So here is my stocktake list as of yesterday:

And our meals planned:

We have lunch with friends next week, and two meals (21st and 22nd) to use up our spare meals.

Today I'm starting to write our list of meals for February, and a list of ingredients.
It'll be interesting to see how things have increased in price...

Until later,
FMxx
