Big Birthday Week!

When I was 40 I was asked what I'd like to do for my birthday. 
I said I'd like a birthday year.
So, once every month I had a card, a gift and a home-made birthday meal. And it was fab!

So this year I'm 50. 
I was asked for birthday ideas, so I said I'd quite like a birthday week - and that is what we are currently in the midst of!
Filled with little surprises.

Last Saturday we spent the day at the Eden project with the children and grandchildren. 
It was magical.
On Sunday we had a meal out with the children and I had cocktails with my daughter. 
Naughty and nice!
On Monday I was taken out for lunch to a superb Chinese restaurant that overlooked the harbour..just the two of us.  Man Wonderful also bought me a rose for every year I've been alive....
Yesterday we went out for a Indian meal with some chums and their dad.
Today I worked.
Tomorrow, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (yes it's longer than a week) I still don't know!

Such a fab week.
